This notice describes the limited information handled when someone visits Canadian County Busted Mugshots or uses an embedded search provider. It applies to this private reference site, not to the public offices or outside pages linked from it.

Information Received

We may receive contact messages that a visitor sends directly, along with the information included in those messages. The embedded search box sends submitted queries to its third-party provider. Routine technical information may also be collected through a browser or server, including IP address, device and browser details, referring page, pages requested, and approximate activity times. Cookies and similar tools may be used for basic operation, measurement, advertising, or provider features.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to operate and improve the site, respond to messages, support site security, understand technical performance, and deliver the search or advertising features a visitor requests. We do not operate the Canadian County Sheriff's Office roster, booking reports, court docket, or any city record system. A query entered into an outside provider is handled under that provider's terms and privacy rules.

Sharing and Outside Services

Information may be processed by search partners, hosting and analytics services, advertising networks, and vendors that help provide site functions. It may also be disclosed when required by a valid legal process or to protect the site's rights, safety, and integrity. Links to sheriff, jail, court, corrections, media, and other resources open sites with their own policies. We do not control their content, cookies, availability, or data practices.

Security and Retention

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information, but no online system can promise complete security. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal duties, or to resolve disputes. Visitors should avoid sending sensitive personal information through a general contact message.
